Join us for an evening to celebrate & launch the Imaging Apartheid poster project for Palestine, a global arts initiative based in Montreal featuring graphic art illuminating the Palestinian struggle for freedom.
Imaging Apartheid is an open call, launched in 2010, for visual artists to create posters for Palestine in an effort to highlight the possibility for artists & cultural workers to play a key role in voicing the Palestinian struggle for justice.
On August 31st the Imaging Apartheid committee will present the first set of posters to be added to the growing Imaging Apartheid poster collection. These beautiful, multicoloured posters were silk-screened for this event by Jesse Purcell of the JustSeeds’ artists collective.
This event will be an opportunity to pick-up your copy of the first printed posters from the Imaging Apartheid initiative and is a way to support the printing of future posters in the Imaging Apartheid series.
