‘Poets Against War!’ is a response of concerned Montreal poets to the war crimes committed against the people of Lebanon, the war against Palestinians, the critical situation in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the ongoing wars being waged against people around the world. It is also an occasion to condemn Canada’s complicity in these acts of aggression. Through our poetry, we denounce the concept of war as a solution to any conflict.
Co-sponsored by Tadamon! Montreal and Les Pages Noires Productions.
