WEDNESDAY: Chain of solidarity with the people of Lebanon
From fire of celebration to fire of shame, from Montreal to the Middle East
Human chain in solidarity with the people of Lebanon and peace in the Middle East, in the Old Port, as an addition to the international fireworks, in which the United States are the Wednesday participants.
Date: Wednesday, 19 July 2006
Location: Old Port of Montreal
Time: At 8pm, gather at Place Jacques Cartier; At 8:30 pm, begin to put together the human chain on de la Commune Street near Quai du Vieux-Port.
Details: Wear a flag, as well as flowers and pictures of what is going on on
the ground. Please invite your Canadian and Quebecois friends as well.
